Place was amazing. Top 5 Italian meals in my life. BOYB(!)/cash only. Family style, and HUGE portions.
AC was easily the worst place i’ve ever been in my life outside of that meal. Oye. What brings you there?
Wife has a conference there so I’m hanging with her. Anniversary same time. Hard to say no.
Take a drive out of town and go to Luke Paladino, bonus it is byob
Was at a conference this week in Atlantic City. We went to the Knife and Fork, food was decent, more old school. Wine list was very reasonable. Had a Liquid Farm Chardonnay @ $60, a 2012 Rivers Marie Cabernet @ $90 and a 2012 Ghost Block Cabernet for $98
interesting. I have turned down offers to go to Knife and Fork in the past, for no real reason. Seems like I may have made a mistake.

Going this weekend and staying at Ocean resort.
Plan on eating there for the weekend (2 dinners and miscellaneous meals)
Amada isn’t bad. Garces name restaurant in AC. Spanish Tapas and small plates. I tasted seasoning leaning toward Central America as opposed to Spain.
Don’t expect anything great from most any dining in AC.
Also dined at the Chart House at The Golden Nugget. We enjoyed the meal there and service was great.
BTW was there 3 weeks ago. Not much masking going on in the casinos.

Make reservations ASAP. You can always cancel. The good restaurants fill up fast and regulars get priority.
Looked at Knife and Fork wine list again, some decent deals. High end grab some Chave Hermitage for $420
Dock’s Oyster House. Good food, nice atmosphere
Ordered a Liquid Farm chard last time I was there.
Steve & Cookie’s in Margate is worth the drive
Stella in Ventnor is a good BYOB
Went to Amada tonight . The tapas were excellent. The paella (we got the chicken one) was eh. I’m thinking the lack of seafood was the reason (wasn’t my choice).

All the meals at Ocean Casino Resort were good/great.
Amada and Dolce Mare for dinners , Harpers and Makai for brunches. All highly recommended.
And made a pit stop for the ride home at White House sub shop. Hadn’t been there in 25 years and it was so darn good .
Chef Vola’s is a must.
