I am going with a large group on a one week trip to Athens, followed up by a one week cruise to the Greek Islands.
I usually take my own wine, but since there will be so many people (16) that is not practical. So, I have decided to purchase several cases ahead of our trip in September, and just get them when I arrive so I don’t have to spend a lot of time shopping for wine upon arrival.
I have looked online for wine shops in Athens and have not had a lot of luck. I would like to buy several cases of Bordeaux and Barolo, but am not finding them in Athens wine shops (at least not on-line).
So, I am looking for a wine shop recommendation in Athens, or even in Bordeaux (I can probably ship them to Athens from Bordeaux pretty reasonably).
ANY IDEAS?
