Any recommendations? I will be there next Sunday through Tuesday. I’m staying in Ribeauvillé (already have an appointment at Trimbach and dining at Zum Pfifferhüs one evening). I don’t know if the shop that was suggested, Boutique VINI in Riquewihr, will be open. It’s open daily Easter through Christmas, but it’s not clear from their website when/if they’re open outside of that period.

If looking for wines that are outside of Alsace stuff, find the nearest Vino Strada . There are 3 locations in major cities/towns in Alsace. I chanced upon their store while walking around in Colmar and grabbed 3 pristine bottles of 1998 Jamet Cote Rotie that they had lying in their basement cellar at no-brainer pricing. Store guy even threw in a complimentary bottle of Jamet’ Cotes-du-Rhone.
