We Saw the Longest Covered Bridge in the World! - Road Trip Vlog 27

This 19th century bridge attracted our curiosity because it is reported to be the longest single span wooden covered bridge in the world! The Bridgeport Covered Bridge was built near French Corral, California in 1862 by David John Wood and was a vital link to the silver mines in Nevada at the time, with up to 100 wagons a day coming through the area.

Lex,

Nice try but almost 4min of video for a closed bridge? Great footage but 4 min of my life I will never get back.

George

Thanks, Lex. I had never heard of the bridge, and it looks like very pretty country up there.

Maybe next time you can include some instructions for George on how to skip ahead in a video. It sounded like he had a lot of trouble with that…

Thanks Daniel, glad you enjoyed watching it.

What could I say to George? Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
