WSET 3 Course in Marsala Sicily - need recommendations!

I decided to do something different and signed up to take a week long WSET 3 course in Marsala the second week of November this year. I am not in the industry, just addicted to learning about wine (I’m in the e-commerce industry).

Do any of you have recommendations for wineries in the area that I should visit near Marsala? I’ll have a car so I can travel a bit. I will be there for 2 days before the course starts.

Also any wine bar and dinner recommendations?

I wil then be in Rome one day and one night before I head home (will not have a car but can Uber). Are there any wine related bars, wineries in Rome that I should definitely check out? I’m going to treat myself to a Michelin star restaurant my final night.

Also go visit the cellars at Florio they are quite beautiful. Food is great everywhere down there, for dinner I’d go to Le Lumie . You’ll love it , definitely an authentic less touristy part of the country.
