VACATION FROM IT ALL

#1 Post by R_Gilbane » October 1st, 2019, 5:48 pm

Where is the best place IYOHO to get away from kids you hate and a wife you barely know? Asking for a friend.

Mark Sanford said the Appalachian Trail is good, and I agree. So are the other long distant trails.

What is the world coming to? I just googled “Argentinian tail” and got nothing but horses and lobsters.

Horses and Lobsters is the title to my upcoming 3rd autobiography. The first two were written from the 4th and 6th person perspective, respectively, and were well received.

Hiking or biking is the way to go. Three hours at a time.

I could give you facetious, as you might be giving us, but instead I'll give it to you straight, just in case. . .
-many of us have been there
-vacation "prolly ain't" the solution
-wait til the "mud" settles and see if you can see things clearer
-cultivate "caring detachment"
-"this too shall pass" is almost always so

P.S.
-keep posting
An aged man is but a paltry thing,
A tattered coat upon a stick, unless
Soul clap its hands and sing

Buy an Alfa Romeo. It may not get somebody far from home, but will look marvelous.

Fly mainlaind to STT - STT to NGD, rent a villa from Dean and Hennie at D&H Sunshine villas (comes w a vehicle). Relax, eat some spiny lobster, drink some rum and do nothing for a week or so.

But don’t always head in the same direction, and try to erase your tracks.
