Aix-en-P and environs

Not to miss restaurant(s)?

L’Estellan in Gordes was quite delicious last November. And we found “The Fork” app helpful too.

If you make it to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, do not miss 17 Place aux Vins. Best wine and small plates in the area. And on Sundays there’s the fantastic market.

Thanks and noted. A day trip to L’isle-sur-la-Sorgue is in the plans.

Noted, thanks. Also, doing a day drive to Gordes.

Had an excellent lunch at Saint-Estève. Beautiful property.

if you make your way to gigondas and cdp, l’oustalet was our favorite meal from our summer vacation this past september. highly recommended for their wine service and excellent food.

Thanks for the additional suggestions. Noted them all in case we decide to make our way to those areas.

Unfortunately, with only a 4-night getaway, will skip Gigondas and CdP this trip. Noted the suggestions for the next time we re-visit those lovely wine towns, though.

One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that there appears to be limited suggestions on the best eats in Aix itself. We’ve been there 3 times before for less than a day each and this is the first time we’ve decided to base our stay there as it presents convenient driving to the places we want to day drive to. We made sure of a reservation for our Sunday dinner (@ Le Poivre d’Ane) given that not many are open on Sundays, but we’re still open for a dinner or 2 during the rest of our stay.
