Hello. new to this forum, and initial post. Planning a trip to France Fall 2021. Tentatively expecting to go to Reims, Cote de Nuits and Cotes de Beaune Wine Regions, and Bordeaux. Besides the well known wineries such as Lafite Rothschild, Latour, Margaux, Petrus, d’Yquem, can you recommend perhaps a less well known boutique wineries that have excellent bordeauxs?
I personally would recommend hiring a wine guide for a day or two. We had one in Southern Rhône and he proved to be in invaluable. If time and knowledge are limited, leverage an in-country guide. We paid $300 US and it was worth it. He provided all the tastings and transportation.
