Havenāt been to T&V for a couple of years as COVID has discouraged me from traveling to the āotherā side of MA, but they haev a good selection and reasonable prices for Mass. No experience thus far with Nejaimeās, although Iāve been meaning to stop by next time Iām in the area.
For restaurants, Iāve enjoyed the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge in the past. Nice colonial atmosphere in addition to excellent food, and a smallish, but nicely curated wine list.
Thanks for all the feedback. We made it to Pittsfied but not Lenox, so Nejaimeās will have to wait until next time.
In Pittsfield we had a very good dinner at Mission, one of the only places we could find open on a Sunday evening. Contemporary small plates style menu focused on seasonal ingredients with a well-chosen selection of reasonably-priced BTG options. Definitely would eat there againā¦
We are staying at the Berkshire Mountain Lodge during the second weekend of October.
Saturday night dinner is at The District (Pittsfield), and Sunday dinner is at Pera Bistro (Williamstown).
Too bad that decent places there disallow BYOB.
I used to bring wine to The Old Inn on the Green in New Marlborough (donāt know their current pandemic rules). Great atmosphere, good cooking, worth the drive.
Every restaurant told me that if they have a license to serve alcohol the law prohibits them from allowing BYO. Of course, that is consistent with what you said. LOL.
