We used to stay at The London. The rooms were much bigger than is typical for NYC and the rates were very good. Got a little down at the heels, although it seems that they have remodeled since the last time we were there (with the Conrad purchase). We also like the Gramercy Park a lot, but with theater tix and given the restaurants we want to visit, mid-town probably makes the most sense.
So, anyone had a really good hotel experience at non-Mandarin/4 Seasons rates recently?

They offer interesting deals on many hotels.
I booked the London through them years ago after you recommended it. Great rooms.
Haha no, $800+ for a room to sleep in is not my jam.
The premium you pay for staying in midtown is amazing. Hotels downtown/Tribeca/East Village are half what comparable properties are in midtown. That’ll pay for a bunch of ubers and meals
