we have lapel pins. Todd - list the lapel bins as a BD sale for $25 each and I will give the gross proceeds to the food pantry and I will cover the S&H. I think I have about 50.

I have two of these from the WB dinner in NYC a few years ago. (I remember what I paid for them then, too!)

Did I miss it or was there not a Berserker Cuvée from any of the producers? I know Jim normally does this at PGC. Too bad if no one picked up the mantle this year.

PG did a 2013 & 2014 Berserker Cuvee. Those were not BD offers.
Marcus did the 2019 vintage of chard as a Berserker Cuvee, on BD 12
and a 2018 Chard and Pinot BC on BD11

Another successful and entertaining BD. Thanks and kudos to Todd and everyone else who helped organize and carry out the celebratory 2 day event.

Kept it rather low key this year, I think I limited myself to <5 cases.

Yes, once again records were set (numbers still to come, via surveys headed up by the mighty Council)

Previous record users online was 3820 or so (forgot to screenshot it, have it somewhere) and we quickly surpassed that yesterday with 4258

Last BerserkerDay we had 11,146 users on the site on Jan 27, this year 12,412 (photo below) with almost 50% new users!

In the two days, which is the TRUE measure of BerserkerDay, last year 14,907 total users, this year 15,767 total users.

Post Pandemic, it should be a full on FESTIVAL... With Offlines in skatter cities around the globe all streaming so everyone can enjoy!! Virtual and real cellar tastings and Monopole Cru would take on a whole new meaning!!

I've gathered just about every bit of seller data (a few outliers yet, but the majority is definitely in) and we've definitely set records yet again across the board, which delights me greatly, since I feared last year's BerserkerDay, in the midst of Covid lockdowns, would be damn near impossible to beat. Nope.

Previous record 'users online' was 3820 or so (forgot to screenshot it, have it somewhere) and we quickly surpassed that yesterday with 4,258

Last BerserkerDay we had 11,146 users on the site on Jan 27, this year 12,412 users with almost 50% new users!

In the two days, which is the TRUE measure of BerserkerDay, last year 14,907 total users, this year 15,767 total users.

Sales numbers: Last year confirmed sales $1.568million (I then estimated the remainder who hadn't replied, based on prior sales, or data given via email/PM when the survey closed, with an estimate just over $1.8mil), this year confirmed sales $1.97million!!

last year i believe it was in the form of a poll, so for instance, you could see how many vendors sold over $50k, how many over $30k, 1K-2K, etc.

That's probably just a good graphic to have in general. I imagine when pitching Berserker Day to new producers interested in participating, a chart like that has the potential to be very eye opening and convincing.

It's very difficult to extract anything useful from a chart of sales. Quite a few vendors have limited offers and when they sell out they're done or we have people selling non wine related things like glasses and food items.

Even a producer year over year is not a fair comparison unless they're offering the exact same thing as the previous year.

Is it fun to look at the chart and say holy cow a couple of people did 75 grand? Awesome.

Of course it is.

Some did well under $1k, some did well over $100k...everything in between. Depends on the offer, discount, availability, popularity, shipping, quality of post, activity level of seller in the thread, reviews, all kinds of things.

I had to spend 10 minutes playing Tetris but I got all of the meat I got during berserker day to fit in the chest freezer; now gotta eat some to make more space.

I did the same, and fortunately my wife hasn't yet gone in the garage freezer as I know what's coming when she sees it...
