What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Apparently some Neal I ordered earlier this year just got charged to my card. 6 x 2014 Neal Howell Mountain Cab and 2 x Neal 04' Wykoff Vineyard Cab.

I like the 16 Sentiers more but the 15 was nice.Jayson Cohen wrote: ↑October 30th, 2019, 5:48 pmI bought the 14 and 15 Sigaut Sentiers VV but sent them straight to the cellar (offsite). So I’m also curious about anyone’s specific tasting experiences.

Had the 16 yesterday and bought a small amount for the cellar. Put up my TN on CT. I enjoyed it. Not diverting dollars from my other favorite producers, but was reasonably priced and think it will be a good crowd pleaser given how much fruit it has. Would like to try it again with more age on it.Mich@el Ch@ng wrote: ↑November 1st, 2019, 12:50 pmI like the 16 Sentiers more but the 15 was nice.Jayson Cohen wrote: ↑October 30th, 2019, 5:48 pmI bought the 14 and 15 Sigaut Sentiers VV but sent them straight to the cellar (offsite). Michael, why did you prefer the '16 over the '15? Did the '15 have more structure by chance (I thought the '16 could have used a little more grip)?

If you are buying multiple bottles of Champagne you should order from UK or France. You can save $30-50 per bottle including shipping cost. Example, 06 Taittinger Comtes BdB.Neal.Mollen wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 8:05 amLOL $145-150 is the cheapest I've seen domestically. Great snag. Bring back a pallet

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Hi Michael, curious if you've drunk this bottle yet and, if so, what your impressions were? Neal Martin gave it a pretty damning review a few months back, which was inconsistent with other reviews I've seen, and I'm wondering if he just had an off bottle..
Thanks, Erik

What was sort of interesting to me were the critic reviews from barrel, didn’t even sound like they were tasting the same wine.erikportanger wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2019, 12:30 amHi Michael, curious if you've drunk this bottle yet and, if so, what your impressions were?
