2009 Red Burgs ?

I opened my first bottle of d’Angerville Taillepieds last Sunday and it seemed to be in an awkward phase. I got an initial blast of ripe red fruit with a really nice minerality, but it closed down quickly after. The structure was all there so I’ll wait for another couple years before opening another bottle. I’d hold off on the some of the Premier Cru wines, but I would definitely open some village level wines to check in on their progress.
