4 cases of Peay…assorted.
I can’t remember exactly what I ordered.
Not sure I can drink it all. Don’t drink when I am on-call or the nights before operating.

Already got my extra 6 Berserkers Cuvée and arriving at office while I am out in the road
Scholium Project - Gardens of Babylon and a little sampler (still tempted by his bubbly if there’s any left)
Dirty and Rowdy - Especial and Familiar
Vincent - a few to sample

And hoping Matthiasson does a vermouth again but otherwise done until Berserker Day but really enjoying my little odd collection.

My latest Wine Bid bottles (8) all came wrapped in tissue also. Never before, maybe to justify the premium increase? [stirthepothal.gif]

Fed Ex today. Where’s Roy and Andy when I need them?

Mike too!

A waste IMO. All of them went right into the recycle bin. [thankyou.gif]

All mine too. I think they are doing to ensure labels are as is sold. I have had bottles wrapped over the years where labels were less than ideal and had wax cabs capped in bubble wrap. In a couple of my boxes that had 750s and 375s, the 375s have a layer of bubble wrap to fill the void of the larger opening. I don’t think this is new as have had this occur over the years.

You guys are killing me. It’s still 85+ degrees in FL!

I have to plan for that very narrow window when it is below 70 here and not quite freezing up in NYC. Ugh.

You didn’t charter a Gulfstream when you came back?

Already received my lots from Zachy’s - 2 cases of 2001 Arrowood; 1 of the Reserve Speciale Cab, 1 of the Monte Rosso Cab. Got my case of 1985 Graham’s from Wine Cellarage at about the same time, and have tried a couple 2011 and 2012 Jadots. Both places are in NY and I’m in NJ so the weather wasn’t as much of a factor as shipping across country.

Got a nice smattering from Hart Davis Hart over the last couple weeks too, with some 1983 Riesling amongst the odd lots.

Shipping on Monday will be 6 bottles from Belmont Wine Exchange, including a 2001 Shafer, 2 1966 Krohn’s, 2011 Outback True Vineyard, 1995 Ch Clinet, and 2002 Lokoya Diamond Mtn.

Sitting at Portland Wine Storage is a couple magnums of 1994 Arrowood Reserve Merlot, a pair of 1995 Ponsot Clos de la Roche, and some chianti.

Waiting on an 18 bottle haul from WineBid - 4 Huets, 2 each from 2002 and 2008, 3 1995 Ponsot Chapelle-Chambertins, 3 1995 Ambroise Corton le Rognets, 1 2002 Ponsot Clos de la Roche, 1 1998 Faiveley Clos de Beze, 1 1996 Jadot Chapelle-Chamberlin, a half bottle of 2003 Alvear Pedro Ximenez de Anada, 1 2004 Caymus Special Selection, and 1 2007 Tenuta Fontodi Flaccianello della Pieve, and 2 others I’d have to look up to remember them.

Received 3 bottles of 2010 and 3 bottles of 2014 Bedrock OVZ in the last few weeks too.

Might have Wally’s ship my 3 cases of 2007 JJ Prum - a mix of Kabinett, Spatlese, and Auslese. Might even snag more Spatlese since it’s a favorite of both mine and my wife’s.

Of course I am biased…but the Scholium Blowout Sparkling wine is fantastic! Grab it if you can!

I know, I know . . . I’m so low-rent! I flew commercial. The shame, the inhumanity. And I didn’t even bring any wine home.

[rofl.gif]

The two regular employees at my local FedEx facility are expecting an invite to my open house when the remodeling and wine cellar are complete.

Forgot to mention there’s a 2001 Spottswoode shipping Monday from a fellow Berserker. [cheers.gif]

I can identify with that as my wife whacked me when the 5th case came as we have room for only 2. Well, we’ll just have to drink faster.

Anyone in Chicago area receive Kutch yet?

Totally agree. 4 cases with every single one wrapped in tissue paper (did a double take at first to make sure it was my box, since they have never done that in the past).

Not only was it was complete waste of tissue paper…but it was a huge pain in the ass to unwrap them all.

I guess now we know where that extra money from the increased buyers premium is going

Didn’t notice your comment on the premium increase Bob. Great minds
