A Little Help Willamette Pinot?!?!

That’s quite sensible and definitely increases your chances considerably.

If Vinopolis has Cameron 2011s that would be worth grabbing just to see if John Paul’s wines from 2011 are up your alley.

I should be able to sort out a few things from our library by then, but I would also suggest looking at my 2016 Pinot Noirs. While not older, it was an extraordinary vintage for earlier drinking with my wines. Again, you could access the wines now, and open a bottle or two and then reorder anything that you feel is exceptional.

And to Mitch’s post, 2008s have been closed for a while, and while there was a lot of fear in 2008 about a very late cool growing season not getting ripe, many of the wines have spent a decade being denser and darker than one would expect from a “cool” vintage.

It’s my feeling that the wines are starting to unfold and show their true quality. But even at 12 years old that still seems to take at least an hour in a decanter, IMO.

Shitty is what I do.

Welcome!

Yep.

Your wines are Shitty, the experience at your winery when we visit is Shitty, and that car you drive is Shitty.
