About 40 selected italian whites

I don’t know, I’ve been disappointed with French whites before, not sure it’s a matter of one country being ‘better’ than another. I think you need to be pickier about Italian whites in general, a lot can be a little hum-drum. The Bucci might still be young.

We were quite selective however, using sometimes some WB TN’s …

I think it is difficult for white italians to challenge red italians (nebbiolo, sangiovese, nerello mascalese, corvina, …). To challenge white french too (chardonnay in Chablis and Cote de Beaune, riesling, savagnin, chenin, grenache, sauvignon in Sancerre/Chavignol).

My best italian white ever : Valentini Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2007 …
