Any interest? Summer 2021 Westchester. My backyard

Love the blind theme, choose a varietal, region or year

This question can be best answered if we have an idea what you plan to serve.

I’m probably going to do a bunch of charcuterie and perhaps a chicken or beef dish. Perhaps a Bolognese sauce with pasta.

Sweet, I am sure that DH can drag something out of his cellar to pair…

How about Bordeaux grape based (Cali, Bordeaux, etc) with at least 10 years of age on it? Blind.

PM’d you

I just wanted to thank you and your wife for hosting us. A beautiful spread. Delicious food. Good company, and of course a few good wines. By a few I mean 9 bottles for 8 people. This was a fun blind tasting. I’m more of a California centric wine guy, so these were my preference vs the French.

2010 MACDONALD.
2010 Kapcsandy Endre State Lane
1992 La Jota Napa Howell Mountain
2004 Robert Foley Claret
2007 Dominus Napa

Thanks Dan.
Enjoyable night and the blind concept is humbling.
It was nice to contrast different styles and guess.
Enjoyed all the wines. I did like the 2000 Bordeauxs (LP and Pavie Maquin) a lot also.
I’m glad to finally be part of the Westchester wine scene and hopefully we can get together regularly.
