My experience suggests that Amex closely monitors the deals you actually use and then never offers them again.
Seems like it to me. Or, they monitor what sites you actually use and make sure to never offer on those. I have around 6 different AmEx cards and have never gotten an WDC coupon.
I’ve only had 2 repeats over the years
i dunno i get several repeats per year it seems. i have had wtso twice in a 12 month interval. i have had countless wineaccess promos (5+) and just got a fresh one. multiple zachys. i would argue whatever algo they use rewards repetitve use from my personal experience. i have a non premium card as well.
My anecdotal impression is that the offers tend to be much more related to what type of card I have and not related at all to where I have actually used the card, either in connection with previous offers or otherwise. I have received many repeat offers over the years.
I’ve had repeats for sure, and not just wine related.
