Cam X Wine Company

Library shiners from retired famous winemakers?

<far fetched? Nope. See the Spring Mountain thread. They exist.>

Scott’s up! :clinking_glasses:

Infamous? Well, I have two special hand bottled Magnums of my Chardonnay, from 1981 & 1982.
Sherry/Sherrified? Vinegar? Just keepsakes that are bound for the Landfill….:face_blowing_a_kiss:

Maybe he is just jealous that we finally got Screaming Eagle from Cam X!

It’s definitely worth staying mum.
So far, so triple EXCELLENT! Enjoy & Bon Appetite! :wine_glass:

Any comparisons yet of past dNé Malbecs (Napa 18; Walla Walla 103; Chalk Hill 118 (our favorite Malbec); Horse Heaven Hills 142 (a Wine Bereserkers favorite); Walla Walla 154; Sonoma 428; Napa 518; Chalk Hill 544) with Cam X’s Rutherford Lot 22; Alexander Valley Lot 39; Yountville Lot 55 and Dry Creek Lot 59 Malbec wines?

Will we ever see once again a Prosecco (dN Lot 256) or a Washington state Mourvedre/Syrah blend as dN’s Lot 229? Oh, those were most interesting days.

Cam, I’m still waiting for the Rose to ship…I only ordered it because of your email on 13 June:
“… The good news is we’ve got a good shipping window for most of the US next week so grab yours today and ship away!”
I followed up on the 16th and got a disclaimed email saying it was being prepared for shipment but you took no responsibility for heat damage…a week later and I’m still waiting for a shipping notice and the high temps are coming quickly.

I don’t mind salesmanship and marketing hyperbole, but please don’t say “ready to ship” if it’s not.

I did the same. A label was created last week, but UPS doesn’t have the shipment yet. I’m not too worried as I’m in Central California so it gets here quick. But for an order placed on the 13th, we’re nine days later and no shipment yet. A little spoiled with Amazon, I guess.

I’m in the same boat.

Most painful process of ordering wine here- getting it delivered. I don’t know why that has to be like that, but it is.

Maybe the boss has an answer?
