This has been my week of drinking Campesino. I meant to try only the Baybos, but it was so good I two nights later tried the syrah, which was also so good that last night I cracked the Alina, which was fantastic. All three are mid-weight, not too heavy, but bright with flavor. And all three of them are even better on day two. The QPR is crazy. Thank you for introducing me to this producer – I’ll be buying again.
Tried the Grenache tonight what a fantastic bottle! Smells like cherries and has a delicious earthy silky cherry red fruit thing going on. Almost funky but with no stink which I appreciate Some nice grip on the finish too. I’m a buyer!
