If I could’ve requested what I wanted and then lottery to see if I “won” I would’ve participated, but I have been on the list a long time and I have been cutting back because I can’t possibly drink on an annual basis my allocation. So for me it was a pass.

I’m sure they were covered by insurance, but not having your wine on the market for a full year can be bad for branding. Offering something keeps people interested.

I’ll take it — excited to try some with a little more age on them. Would not have chosen the Camaspelo, but kinda fun to have forgotten about this and see some nice bottles show. I requested 3, so likely was not a sellout for them (or certainly not far oversubscribed) as they gave me as many as I asked for.

Erich, I asked for up to six but was only allocated three (going from memory on the “wish” I submitted), so I think they were indeed sold out.
