Chardonnay recommendations

If you can get them…Rivers Marie. See my tn.

Another vote for Mount Eden.

Anderson’s Conn Valley is good value and excellent quality.

Cheating a bit and stretching the threshold to $75 (and showing Australia some love)… Leewin Estate Art Series, magical

Mount eden estate is one of truly great cali chards. Fantastic and age beautifully…

looking at the OP’s desires i would throw something out there that would be a little above what price you specify but is absolutely stunning - MAXEM - personal project of sam kaplan (arkenstone, momento mori etc.). Both pinot and Chard are knockouts!

Maxem is outstanding. Could not recommend them enough. QPR is excellent.

To me Stony Hill or Mt Eden might fit the OP’s requirements but to me Ceritas and white burgs taste nothing like Aubert. These tend to be acidic, mineral drive chards which are nothing like Aubert. Personally would take $20 Goodfellow, Vincent, Cameron, IBrand chards over pretty much anything mentioned in this thread other than white burgs and the ceritas. Clearly Aubert is not my style from the 3 bottles I’ve had.

+1 on Ramey, Sojourn, Mount Eden and Rivers-Marie.

Vine Cliff could be something to look at but I don’t know how readily available they would be in your market.
