I haven’t seen the new episode, but my least favorite chef after having watched the prior episodes was Frances Mallmann. He came across as a completely self-absorbed, arrogant, douche. He made me want to punch him in the face.

Massimo Bottura came across as the guy I’d most like to hang out with. Dominique Crenn also seemed like someone who would be a genuine delight and was a close second to Massimo in that department.

Loved the Grant Achatz and Gaggan Anand episodes.

We are looking forward to watching the latest season in our house.

Agree that the Mallman episode was very weak in all respects – few beautiful food shots and a jerky chef. I thought the Achatz’s episode was weak too. Liked all the others.

This thread got me poking around Netflix and I found this. I tremendously enjoyed the first two I watched, Passard and Couillon. Bottura episode was also great. Thanks for the heads up.
