We had an Epica kettle ($41 on amazon) for years until someone submerged it in water. No one in our house admitted to it. We’ve since moved on to a Cuisinart CPK-17 and it’s just as good. We drink a fair amount of tea in addition to coffee so having variable temps and the ability to hold water at temp for an hour are the two necessities for us. Once we went down this path it wasn’t long before I lost track of where our traditional stovetop tea kettle ended up.
Thanks. I’m deciding between the white and black but will likely purchase. My Amazon purchased kettle is fully functional but not nearly so aesthetically pleasant.
