Every Day Drinkers

+1, with a focus on Muscadet, Beaujolais, Nebbiolo, and Austrians (Gruner/Riesling)

Hence the reason I don’t recommend it to anyone. [snort.gif]

I don’t think $30 wines were part of the program, here. Just sayin’.

Not $30 when you buy them on futures.

2004 Conde de Valdemar Rioja Reserva was pretty damn good for about $12. For the $10-$20 price range and my personal preference Rioja smokes Cotes du Rhone.

For less than $10 Domaine de Cassagnoles and Sori Gramella Moscato.

2007 Cameron Hughes Cabernet Napa Lot 116 - $18.70
2007 Cameron Hughes Cabernet Mowell Mountain Lot 143 - $18.70
2007 Kirkland Napa Valley Meritage - $10.99

Bill - I am going to try the 2007 Educated Guess Cab. Thanks for letting us know about it.

Edmeades Zinfandel Mendocino County $15-17
Four Vines Zinfandel Old Vines Cuvee $15
d’Arenberg Stump Jump Shiraz $9
Borsao Tres Picos $13
CC Merlot Grand Estates or H3 $10-12
Whatever $12-14 Oregon Pinot Gris looks good

+1 on the 2008 Dr. L Reisling.
I also like the 2006 Arrowood Chardonnay for $15 at Costco, as well as the 2007 Novy Syrah for under $20.

Thanks,
Ed.

+1 on the Edmeades. Always a crowd pleaser. I can get Tres Picos for $10; and it is also a winner.

I’d add:
'07 Educated Guess ($16)
'07 Mocking Bird Hill Cab ($15)
'07/'08 Evodia Garnacha ($10), and
'07 Juan Gil Monastrell ($12),

Segui deserves the credit for finding it. I just had the bandwidth to tell everyone about it.

Our current house White and Red…
Domaine Prieur-Brunet Bourgogne Blanc ($16) and Bourgogne ($17).

Would add basic Gloria Ferrer bottling in response to Domain Chandon suggestion.

Haven’t had McManis in quite a while, but was served it on a recent Continental flight in First Class. Flying is not what it used to be…

The McManis is good with some air… briefly. It goes downhill quickly if you don’t consume it quickly. Like within two hours of opening it.
