Gmail and wine email blasts

Let me guess, they arrive roughly around 10am? There are a few timeslots that are shown to have better open rates, so a lot of e-mail senders try to target those slots. Of course, if a subscriber gets a bunch at once, it’s unlikely they’re interested in reading them all, so it can be counterproductive.

The emails arrive timestamped within a minute of each other, always on the same days. All from large California wine retailers. Messages are always fetched from the server in one batch and show up as a contiguous group in my inbox. The emails all have similarities - probably a common template.

This is likely front-ended by a specialty marketing service. Just wondering who it is.
