There was a theme. Everything tasted like fish.
I could take a six hour meal if it included two one hour breaks for long walks or amorous side activities.
The longest I’ve sat still for a meal was at the Herb Farm, and that was about twice too long.
This reminds me of a review Michael Bauer of the SF Chronicle at the time did of Morton’s steakhouse. Time hasn't been kind to Morton's IMHO a classic. I think it is Bauer’s only published zero star review in about 30 years of restaurant reviews.
I’d say more sad than hilarious. I have this image of a Basil Fawlty type manager wandering in and out.
