Although I don’t drink much boxed wine, I’ve heard that some are actually pretty decent.

They are now, because it took 10+ years of increasingly better wineries making the commitment to the format. Before Plumpjack started bottling a portion of their top Cab under Stelvin you couldn’t find a bottle over $15 using it. Now you have some very good wineries doing 75%-100% of their production under Stelvin. Same with box wine, though it took form more in Europe and Australia before making it’s way here. We had to overcome the dreaded Franzia image as a consumer public before wineries/importers started making the transition.

What I would worry about is spilling. That is a full glass and you have to tear off the lid. It’s gonna go all over the place.

Amateurs. Don’t you guys know anything about drinking wine? Although, if you’ve got the straw, who needs the prepackaged glasses?
