Italy (Rome/Florence/Venice) - June 2020

I just booked this in Trastevere for my children and myself. One of the hottest trends is eating in a Nonna’s home. You can cook with locals, eat with locals and even shop the Mercato with locals.
We are just doing the Party in Barbara’s home and I hardly think she is a Nonna…
I will keep you all posted on how it goes.

If you like cars, we’ll be doing a car rally around florence/tuscany in june. Lots of crazy stuff - mcclaren senna, la ferrari, huayara etc etc etc.

Mike: How did this turn out? Worthy of a visit?

Appreciate any advice you can share…

Gus

Not well. Covid killed the trip. I aslo just cancelled this September.
My kids are not as confident as I am.

Napa Valley and San Clemente, here we come!!!

Ah…appreciate the response. We are heading to Rome and Florence at the end of the month…and as usual this board has been full of great food and wine ideas!

Please share your experience Gus. First time? Very curious as to the state of play in Italy at the moment (both city and rural).

Will do. To Italy? This is our fourth trip…last one in 2019. Will update once we are on our way at the end of month…
