Links redirecting to wine.com

FWIW, None of those links re-direct me. I do use ublock origin and it makes this site fine on chrome using a Win 10 machine. There are ads of course but none that get in the way too much.

On my IOS devices the ads are a mess and I have been re-directed to wine.com. I gave up using this site on an IOS device but that is my choice.

So the problem seems to be unique to ios. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Sorry, Safari here too. Not Chrome as I initially stated. Only on ios for me.

Never had this issue on Safari (macOS or iOS), logged in or not. Maybe a weird ad or other content blocker causing this?

I am not using any content blockers and I’m always signed in as a GCC member, so nothing ad related here.

This just happened on my mobile device… logged in… click link… went to wine.com.

shutdown/restarted safari (iOS14.0), and problem went away.

it’s not a GCC or not issue i don’t think…

I can connect on links without being redirected using Chrome on Mac.

Has there been a solution to this? I am getting this on Chrome on a Mac, half the time to wine.com but if I close the tab and click again it goes to the right link.
I tried deleting cookies to no avail.

I think it was an issue with the VigLink plugin being used for this bbs, but it’s long since been fixed I believe. Maybe try clearing your cache?

For whatever reason, this is now happening again for me when I click on links. It looks like the viglink service somehow got re-enabled and is hijacking some of the links on this forum.

Anybody else experience this recently?

below is the current list of 3rd party services being used by WB for various tracking, ad serving, etc. perhaps find the one that is causing this and block it manually?

Yes, it happened to me yesterday. I was logged in as a GCC member at the time.

Happening to me as well. Also I’m having to log in CONSTANTLY. 2, 3 times a day??? On mac and iPhone.

this is an old one (many years) that is unrelated. I’ve tried to fix various ways, but just make sure your phone and mac have logins saved and it should log you in automatically with one extra click.

I’ve been getting the redirects as well.

One other thing I’ve noticed. When I am having this happen a lot - 2,3 times a day or more - it’s because I’m inadvertently using private browsing on my iPhone. AKA user error. Not saying that’s your issue, but it has been mine a lot of the time.

I wish it were that simple.
