So I did the math out of curiosity to see how good or bad of a deal I got there. Half bottles of these wines low WSPro at somewhere that ships:
Gloria $25
Carmes $18
Ormes de Pez $18*
de Sales $18*
Lynch Bages $65
Giscours $43
Total: $187
- no 375s on the market, reasonable guess based on 750ml price
So not a crazy steal, but a very good deal considering you would pay shipping, you’d order from a bunch of places, buying singles, etc.
Always fun to have some good wines in 375s around.

I worry that the population of Bordeaux drinkers is going to keep growing and the supply of Bordeaux is never going to be able to keep up.

There haven’t been any good deals on Bordeaux at my local since only a sliver of the 2019s came and went to my neck of the woods. The 1st and 2nd growths from 2020 have been shelf turds for a year now, since they are all above W-S lows, and there have been no markdowns. The general Euro wine selection has rebounded a touch, but I don’t think I find the random cool selections I used to.
I was excited last year when we got one of these 6 packs of 375s, but I thought it over, and wasn’t interested in half of them… so the 375 tax wasn’t worth it.

My local MN store dropped the price on the 2020 Dauzac to 29. Jumped on 4. They have the Argiano Bdm for 79 which is tempting, consider how much the price rose after the WS coronation,

Nice selection of primo bottles though the prices seem all over the place. That is some high, some low.
