Old Vines and Pizza

Strong chlorine smell which I think indicates cork taint.

Ditto on both accounts. I miss Rosso.

And that Stoneking character, man that guy gets around. [cheers.gif]

Loved this dinner. I had a great time with everyone and met some amazing vinos peeps. I loved the 99 Carlisle Two Acres, 93 Ravenswood Wood Road-Belloni, 99 Ridge Geyserville, all Bedrock and Carlisle bottles were great. 84 Deer Park was also very good.

To My Russian River Brewing crew - Let’s do it again. It was awesome to hang out and drink with you guys.

When are we doing this again?

Oh I’m never wrong, just ask Dava. [pwn.gif]
Mike can answer to the brett issue. I took the remainder of the 98 home with me and finished it last night. Was great.

Oops, found another one. 1989 Ravenswood Old Hill Ranch. I think this one was corked?

I also learned how to say Carignane properly. Damn French words…[/quote]

You mean Care-again?

Wow. I don’t see any wine glasses on the table. Were y’all just guzzling out of the bottles? [wow.gif]

The glasses were stemless so the bottles towered over them. We didn’t guzzle until it was time to go. [berserker.gif]

They’re there.

So… what’s next? Focus on a specific vineyard?

Within the original theme, or broader?

Griffins Lair or Hudson or Las Madres… W/ BBQ? flirtysmile

Vineyards most represented in my cellar:
Monte Rosso (60 bottles) [wow.gif]
Hudson (31 bottles)
Griffin’s Lair (29 bottles)
Bedrock (28 bottles)

Whose BBQ?

I can scour some bottles if we go vineyard specific.

I’m down  keep me posted!
