Strong chlorine smell which I think indicates cork taint.
Ditto on both accounts. I miss Rosso.
And that Stoneking character, man that guy gets around.
Loved this dinner. I had a great time with everyone and met some amazing vinos peeps. I loved the 99 Carlisle Two Acres, 93 Ravenswood Wood Road-Belloni, 99 Ridge Geyserville, all Bedrock and Carlisle bottles were great. 84 Deer Park was also very good.
To My Russian River Brewing crew - Let’s do it again. It was awesome to hang out and drink with you guys.
When are we doing this again?
Oh I’m never wrong, just ask Dava.
Mike can answer to the brett issue. I took the remainder of the 98 home with me and finished it last night. Was great.
Oops, found another one. 1989 Ravenswood Old Hill Ranch. I think this one was corked?

You mean Care-again?
Wow. I don’t see any wine glasses on the table. Were y’all just guzzling out of the bottles?

The glasses were stemless so the bottles towered over them. We didn’t guzzle until it was time to go.

Vineyards most represented in my cellar:
Monte Rosso (60 bottles)
Hudson (31 bottles)
Griffin’s Lair (29 bottles)
Bedrock (28 bottles)
Whose BBQ?
I can scour some bottles if we go vineyard specific.
