Opinions on the 325 CE vintage? World's oldest bottle of wine

This may be something I would be interested in trying. We just finished off our last bottle of Cana Wedding Cuvée.

He was serious.

That’s why I laughed

Laughed audibly at this.

Charlie would be pissed about all the sediment.

Wow, this just in: a sealed canister has been discovered in an archeological site in Marrakech that is full of thick resinous bars that smell of burnt rope and a Led Zeppelin concert…

It’s dated from the year 420.

Hmmmm.

It’s a Tom Hill birth year wine.

That’s not wine… That’s salad dressing

For all the snark, it is amazing that this was produced around the time Alexander the Great was building his empire. It predates the rise of Rome, Caesar and Cleopatra, obviously Christ etc. And the fact that it still lives (a little) makes it an absolutely remarkable find. Not to mention we get an insight into the winemaking of the ancients.

Hate to be the annoying nerd in the classroom, but I believe this is AD rather than BC, putting it squarely in the reign of Emperor Constantine and the affirmation of Christianity as the main religion in the Roman Empire.

Correct, I did not read it care fully.
