I have had 3 - count 'em - 3 Sassafras pizza stones. All cracked and replaced. The local store was great about replacing them. They worked fine but it is a bummer to have to deal with a cracked stone.
Lately I have been using a Cuisinart Pizza Pan. The pizza comes out with checkered marks; looks like a Pizza Hut quality pizza - so the Pizza Pan has got to go.
Got to say - the W-S stone looks nice.
