Seafood gumbo tonight- what to pair with it?

I’m not making the gumbo - just eating !! Got lots of beer - but need a wine too!

Riesling. The spicier the Gumbo the sweeter the Riesling.

This will not be too spicey

Brut champagne or off dry sparkling.

How about a not-too-oaky cali chard? Good acidity and medium body.
