Leonetti makes a killer Merlot. You might have a lengthy weight before getting on their list though. Pepper Bridge has a good merlot as well.
Tons of their older vintages on Chicago Wine Company at decant prices.
I have not bought from them before. I get so much stuff from wineries, I don’t go looking at auction houses… I surfed around and they have all kinds of great wine. There a few Leonetti Reserve cabs at good price points too. Thanks for the tip!

You enablers are killing me and i’m happy! Alright just popped an 18 Orr Merlot, or course it’s very young but what a lovely Merlot it’s bright red fruited light on the palate with balanced acidity and tannin.
