I also use the wrap on btls I want to keep in great shape (kids birth year wines,high end wines, some old Madeira etc) as well as some wine in diamond bins.
It really stops btls from sliding.
That’s a brilliant idea! Just realized that would mean taking out about 400 Riesling bottles, wrapping and them restacking them…
I “solved” this problem by installing rubber flooring in my wine cellar in the vicinity of the Riesling racks. Two incidents were two too many, where a minor disturbance of one bottle resulted in a cascade.
No problems since then!
