The annual WHAT DID YOU BUY ON BERSERKERDAY thread

Match cabernet, get them while I can
Olive Oil
Meat
Siduri sampler
Chester’s Anvil Sampler
Riverain Syrah
Sonkin Cellars
Wilde Farm Pinot

Wilde Farm Rosé
Lagier Meredith Syrah Vertical
Liquid Farm Club + a 4-pack

Then the Rhys offer hit, and I got stopped in my tracks…no more BD activities after that one.

Sojourn
Liquid Farm
Wine Library - library pass
Rhys (from list, but same day)
Would have ordered meat, but the code was NG at 5:00EST this morning.

EMH Black Cat. My only purchase. With Saxum, Turley and Carlsile all hitting at the same time, had to draw the line.

Was rather impressed by my self-restraint on my first BD, I held it down to:
Cabot Syrah 6er
Biggio Hamina 6 pack TBD
Vincent 3 pack

I have to admit that I passed again. An amazing concept handled exceptionally well, but my palate is old world and the super-majority of the offerings were new world. I will grab some stuff from Down to Earth, Panzer has an amazing selection. I will say, however, that if I lived in Cali, the private event at some of the wineries sounded AWESOME, I would have bid. Living in Florida has its limitations.

Steak!

Just a Cowan Cellars 4pack sampler for me.
Ultramarine offer the same day caused me to have to prioritize spending.

I ordered from:
Briceland
EMH
Flannery (steaks)
Fogline
Ladd
Lagier Meredith
Liquid Farm
Random Wine Co.
Riverain
Sandler
Siduri
Sojourn
Tercero
Veleta (wine, olive oil, and sherry vinegar)
Vincent
Wilde Farm
Wine Check (Elite and stemware carrier)

Sandler 6 pak
Jean Edwards 6 pak mix
Vincent pinots
Dilecta rhones
Loring rhones
WL library pass
Wish there had been some zin wineries involved

My wife found my stash, plus, she retired and is a little nervous about money. That kept me honest, not to mention I’ve purchased from a variety of participants in the past. I’m fortunate enought to have those wines already stashed as you say (including yours). neener

Seven of Hearts
Cellars 33
Liquid Farm

My theme this year was to try new wineries or at least bottlings I haven’t tried before, and to focus on the $20-30/bottle range.

Rebuys from BD V:
Ladd (6-pack pinot)
Bailiwick (3 pack pinot)

BD V Purchases who I did not buy from this year:
Cabot (friend bought, so will probably share)
Jemrose (didn’t participate in BD VI due to low stock)
Kaella (still ageing wines, have not tried yet)
Sandler (based on 1 bottle opened – not my style, but we’ll how much they improve with age)

New BD VI Purchases:
Briceland (custom 6-pack)
Virage (6-pack)
Longplay (4 pack pinot)
Loring Wine company (4 pack Russell)

Message sent, still waiting to hear from:
Coffee Grounds
Siduri

All in all a good Beserker Day for my 2nd try at this!!!

EMH
Lagier-Meredith
Liquid Farms
Riverain
Sojourn–would have ordered anyway
Jean Edwards

Flannery & Congruence

Liquid Farm
Patty Green Clone Pack
Turley
Rhys
and a couple of beers at a new tap house soft opening in town.

My wife later scolded me for not getting in on the coffee offer. . . she is quite a grounds geek.

Longplay
Liquid Farm
Briceland
Patricia Green

Tried to show restraint this year.

Michael

Chester’s Anvil
Patricia Green
Riverain
Harrington
Liquid Farm
Halcon

These are all new wines to me, so the sense of anticipation is boundless. Great event - a big thanks to all involved!

I have to admit… I stayed very disciplined this year. Perhaps because there are just so many offering early this year that I’ve either already purchased or am planning to purchase.

I only purchased 2…

Virage - 6 pack (2 '07 Red, 2 '08 Red $ 2 '13 Pink)
Alpha Omega - 4 bottles Sauv Blanc

Veleta (oil, vinegar & sardines)
Siduri Pinot 3-pack
Cowan 4-pack + Ribolla

Very happy here.

Lagier Meredith
Siduri
Levo
Sandler

Happy with the deals, looking forward to trying all these.
