What’s interesting to me is that I had the '70 for my 30th birthday - 12yrs ago. I would have described it almost exactly the same - very good wine but probably don’t leave it lying around for a lot longer. Admittedly I bought from the original owner (the distributor of record back then) who stored in a cool - but passive - cellar - so could have been advanced due to that.
Now I want to try a pristine example!
