Do it. And I have one '08 Botella left so if we run into each other in Socal (I’m in MV) and I can talk the warden into parting ways, I’ll open it.

Botella was the bottling of the young/immature vines. Back in the day, it was going for less than $45 a bottle.

As the vines matured they bottled the fruit under Southing and Ten hence the “disappearance” of the Botella over time.

Brig we should get together again for sure - have you checked out the winery in Lake Forest? Not amazing but I can’t not try a local tasting room when I’m in the mood.

Thanks for the explainer on that . . Botella was my introduction to Sea Smoke, but I’m not sure Southing and Ten capture the same magic.

Yeah, I know Botella was still produced for a while (maybe still is?) as the least expensive in the lineup, but because it became the smallest production bottling, it was the most tightly allocated, only going to long-time customers at some point. It was much easier to get Ten than Botella when I was buying.
