The problem with the journey is some people never move forward. I see it all the time with my golf game. The nice thing about wine is anyone can move forward as long as you apply the tasting process. The reason so many wines like this exist in the US is we grow up drinking soda, juice, etc. It took me a while with wine to get into drier styles. Now I can’t stand drinking soda. It is amazing how many people I run into that like Freakshow but the minute they move the wine around in their mouth is the time they get it.
