That might be worth a try… label says 29 barrels produced, so I would expect this one to remain members only officially.

Opened a bottle tonight, and it’s pure terroir. First sip is clearly Evangelho.

More tomorrow. I want to let this evolve a little.

• 2018 Ridge Evangelho - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Contra Costa County (6/25/2021)
  Yes, this is clearly a Ridge wine. That said, after a brief interlude it becomes all Evangelho. The sappy, soul of the deep fruit that always characterizes the vineyard shines through and stakes its place. I have said it in the past, but it bears repeating, Evangelho has a life force. Grape blend doesn’t matter. Producer doesn’t matter. Terroir wins out unless Wile E. Coyote drops an ACME anvil on the fruit.
