I agree the Best Gioconda Chardonnay was the 1996. The 2002, 04, 06, 2010 were blowsy. Could not get my head around them. Stopped buying them after 2010 so have not experienced the recent stylistic change. It it has become linear and taut then its a move in the right direction.
I purchased their shiraz in recent vintages. Had an 2004 under cork in recent past and it looked very nice. The 2010 Shiraz was well made still very youthful.
My favourite chardonnays have been Vasse Felix Heytesbury, Penfolds Bin 12A, 14A, Oakridge 864, Hoddles 1er. Woodlands Standard chardonnay was quite nice too.
