I had the 2002 Haut Brion last summer, and it punched WAY above the vintage. It sounds like that bares no similarities to what we are seeing of the LMHB 2002 based on notes.
It’s been a few years since I last tasted it. IMO, it’s on the austere, side. It’s a fine, classic, old school BDX, but it’s not even close to a top vintage of LMHB.
