Tricky wine pairing - feijoada!

Our Brazilian nanny taught us (well, my wife, really) how to make feijoada. Love it, and it does get better on day 2 or 3! Never considered having wine with it, but will know what to try the next time.

I asked a Brazillian friend of mine and she wasn’t quite sure what to pair with it. Then again she’s vegetarian/vegan or whatever the current term is for those who don’t eat things that are able to move around. She suggested beer.

Interesting that the Beaujolais turned out to be the better pairing. I would have thought Zin, given the two.
