Vitamix - thoughts?

Yup. You cannot just make soup by using the “soup” button, unless you like drinking liquid velvet…which sort of sounds great…until you try to eat a bowl of it. I do that, and then add it to soup that has not been “blended”. You have to play around until you find what YOU like.

It’s hard to justify the cost for a “blender” but I love mine. I use it quite a bit when cooking in place of a food processor as well.

FWIW, I’d spend half the money on a great immersion blender.
