If you end up driving from Seattle to Walla Walla, and if you like tamales, definitely stop at Los Hernandez in Union Gap. That drive takes you past Red Mountain and there are some good wineries to visit there, including Tapteil and Col Salare.

Would recommend Cadence. I’m in their club but live out of town, so no idea about tasting. Website says appointment only. Bordeaux blends only, and lovely wines.
