Did your daughter get to put her feet in the Pacific on Friday or Saturday when it was unusually warm and sunny at the beach (65 whole degrees!), or on Sunday when it was a more typical cloudy (foggy) and 59 degree day? The ocean temp is still in the low 50s. It’s shocking for most people how cold SF is in the summer, but I love it. I start reaching for more water when it gets above 70.
Sunday over by Cliff House. She’s used to a cold ocean since she sticks her feet in the water on Long Island in May every year.
And my wife learned after our last trip to bring proper clothes for an SF summer .
The 2 of them did a taste test in SF, and preferred Boudin. And I just did a taste test and voted for Boudin as well. Even without the NE clam chowder in the middle.
And they were able to make it onto Alcatraz for a day tour. Loved it.
On Saturday and Sunday they utilized one of the on/off bus company for touring the city. And my wife rented a car on Monday for her business appointment on Monday morning so in the afternoon they hit Lombard street and Twin Peaks .
