When I joined , I frankly found the sensation of getting offered 1 or 0 of dozens of expensive SVDs, with little idea which few to buy, to be unsatisfying. I never felt good about my orders.
The wines are generally good, if not strong QPR, but I never got comfortable with the process. I’m sure it works for many others, though, maybe more for those who spend big dollars and buy a lot of wine from them.
I haven’t tasted the final bottled wines but based on what they were like in barrel I’d go with Coastlands and Rochioli. If you were able to attend the Fall release last year you may have tasted the Coastlands in barrel then, too, and it was coming along very nicely.
Rochioli, Calegari, Coastlands and Bacigalup Zin for me. Those are home runs almost every time. Plenty of other great options though Bucher, Precious Mountain, Allen etc…
