Wine Cellar Innovations, have you used them?

Just to clarify, I meant the labor cost to manufacture the racking, not to install/put together.

I ordered racking from them on 12/13/21 and was told early February for shipping. They arrived late March. Racks are nice and worth the wait. Just make sure you have a nail gun. I would use them again.

I have racks ordered from them and I am very cautiously optimistic. I have my own guy to do the install. So we shall see. This my 3rd build and I did not use them the first two times for reasons I do not recall.

My rack showed up yesterday. No notice, it just showed up. Installation was pretty easy, and I’ve now gotten all the wine off the floor. My only complaint is with oversized burgundy bottles - they disclosed that they wouldn’t fit, and they don’t. I’ll probably just have to move a bunch of my Bedrock over into that rack…

Maybe I should have placed 10 individual small orders. I’d have take delivery 2 months ago. [wink.gif]

You can place large bottles on the top. I used the top mostly for magnums.

I bought a bunch of stuff from them. Had to call (once) to check on shipping as they had seemed to have forgotten about me. Racks arrived a few weeks after that. Otherwise no issues. Wish they had wire racks that fit Burgundy bottles, but otherwise no complaints.

Had a small space in the basement, watched a lot of YouTube videos and help from my dad.

Not super fancy but so much cheaper than hiring someone.

Bump to report the racking from Wine Cellar Innovations came is as promised. We didn’t have any problems with my guy installing the racking. It was odd, I thought at the time and I did not like, that they wanted paid in full before I received the racks. I gambled because I couldn’t find anyone else to do the job but the racks did arrive. I have since heard, however, that they are out or are going out of business. So I got really lucky as the racks were delivered at the end of May.

I bought racking and a cooling unit from them ~7 years ago; no upsell, delivery as described. Have had some warranty issues w/ the cooling unit and they have been very responsive. Would use them again.

It looks like Wine Cellar Innovations is closed and has filled for bankruptcy. The web site is down and they do not answer the phone. Facebook has a thread on this on their page. Sorry to those who got hurt.

I got the whole upsell vibe from them a few months back when I placed my order. I got lucky and received my racking but found out a day or two after its arrival that they closed.

In speaking with another wine cellar installer they mentioned that Wine Cellar Innovations was taking orders up until the day that closed. I have a feeling there are quite a few people out there that never got their order.
